How Vision Determines Destiny

Having a clear vision of how your successful business and your lifestyle will look is essential

The more clear you can make your vision, and the more emotion you can put into it, the more power it will have in your life to actually come into existence!

As you're reading this article, let yourself dream, and visualize yourself living the lifestyle you want...What does it look like, and what does it feel like? What sort of things do you do?

What about your business? What does it look like when it’s successful? How does that feel? Put yourself into that successful life and see how great it feels.

The more you can generate those positive feelings throughout the day, the closer you will become to actually achieving those dreams!

What kind of person do you want to be? The more you can see yourself as that person, the closer you will become to being that person.

Developing a Vision is not hard, but put some thought into it. Make it detailed. We’ve divided it up into 4 sections to help you really think about it...

1. Outward

Why are you doing the type of business you’ve decided on? How is your product or service going to help others? How else might you help others through your business? How is your life going to improve with your business?

2. Lifestyle

What sort of lifestyle do you want? How much money would you like to make? How many vacations would you like to take and to where?

Are there specific things you’ve always dreamed about having? A boat, a sports car? How about your home? Would you like to improve it, buy another one, or maybe have a vacation home?

This is the time when you can really dream. Some people haven’t learned to really dream, or they won’t let themselves believe that they could ever have nice fun things.

Dreams are an important part of your life, and an important part of your Vision. You may have heard about a “Vision Board” where you take pictures of all the things you want and put them on a big board.

Well, that is a great idea and fun! We suggest you do it. Some people make Vision Books-kind of like a scrap book. Do whatever inspires and excites you.

The more joy, fun, and creativity you can infuse into your life, the more positive experience you will attract. Just wait and see...

3. Inner VisionThis is about your personal growth. How would you like to be? Do you dream about being a leader? About being able to speak in public? About having confidence?

About not being fearful? Maybe having more courage? Maybe you want to be more patient, or kind. Or even more organized.

If you had a friend who had to describe you to someone else, what would you like them to be able to say about you? Do, act, think, and feel like you are already that person.

Will you be more relaxed? Enjoying your family and friends more? Will you be happier and more positive? Act that way now! Even if you don’t feel like it, do it anyway. The feelings will eventually follow!

You will experience a lot of personal growth through running your own business, if you allow it.

4. Business Vision

Describe how you want your successful business to look. What do your days look like?-what do you do when you get up in the morning?

What do you fill your days with? What kind of people do you work with? Where do you work? How many hours a day do you work? What is your ideal office set-up like?

WarningWatch out for the dream stealers. When you’re creating your vision, forget about “I can’t” “that could never happen” and any other negative thoughts that pop up.

If you accept them and believe them, of course that’s what’s going to happen. Of course these thoughts will try to assert themselves, so it’s up to you not to give them a home in your mind.

Send them packing immediately!

Ask any really successful person what they think about all day every day. It will be a really enlightening conversation.

I can almost guarantee that even if they had moments of fear and doubt, that’s not what they chose to dwell on. It’s counter- productive to success.

“If your mind is muddied up with “can’t” and “it’s so hard”, it will be really hard for you to just do what you have to do each day”. Jesse Duplantis.

If you let negativity consume your thoughts, what happens is that they’ll start to spill out into your words. You’ll start talking negative, and then you’ll end up pulling into your life exactly what you don’t want.

Dwelling on fear, doubt, insecurities, builds just more of the same.

These negative thoughts will derail you if you don’t get them under control. Read our article on Law of Attraction for more about how important this is for your success.

Time to Rock and Roll...

Write down and describe your Vision in detail. Make your board or book. Do whatever it takes to fire you up.

This is what will help you through those tough times-having a mission, a purpose for what you are doing. Make it big. Make it exhilarating.

So have fun developing your Vision! Work at it until you feel excitement, passion and joy with it. This is your future-create it!
