Secrets of Mass Hypnosis Through Twitter

And How to Use Them to Market Your Home Based Business

Twitter is one of the easiest Social Media tools to incorporate into your daily business. It started as a platform for friends to connect and find out “what are you doing right now”.

It’s now become much more.

As you absorb every word of this page, you'll begin to see that we're talking about an extremely powerful tool to form relationships, as well as draw in and educate new clients about your business.

You'll learn more and more of this hidden knowledge as you read, but first we need to talk about a little known secret that only the insiders know about

The Hypnotic Secret of Twitter

Did you ever wonder why a tweet is 140 characters long? It turns out that 140 character is very close to the length of the average human thought.

We don’t think in huge drawn out sentences, we think in much shorter ideas and then string them together.

Kind of like the sentence I just wrote.

Know what I mean?

If you’ve studied copy-writing, or read the copy of someone who’s really good – you’ll notice that they write in short paragraphs.

This gives them a chance to emphasize a point, and make sure that you…

Think about it…before moving on to the next thought.

So Twitter has a built in system that’s very powerful and very hypnotic to us humans… If we tweet the right things, in the right way, we can pretty much get right past someone’s defenses.

If we repeatedly do this, then, over a little bit of time, we can paint a very powerful picture in people’s minds, both conscious and subconscious – of exactly how we want to be branded and perceived.

It’s super important to decide what you’re about – who you are, if you want to use twitter as a place to market yourself and/or your products and ideas.

Let everything you post (tweet) on Twitter be one piece of a puzzle - One part of the big picture that you’re painting of yourself. When people’s subconscious minds put this together, then you’ll be formed in their minds exactly how you want to be.

Again, to do this, you must first know yourself – and then know how you want to be perceived.

Warning – This is Powerful Stuff

Knowing how the mind works is powerful, and I know that this knowledge could be used for evil.

Let me just warn you that you will give an account some day for how you treat people and how you use what you’re taught.

If you’re providing a service to people and helping them, then a little persuasion can be a great thing. Because sometimes people are their own worst enemy and they need for someone to get past their defenses in order to help them.

But... If you use these powerful techniques to harm others, it will come back on you with a vengeance. Misused power always bites back...

How to Get Followers

• The first thing to concentrate on is to have a good profile, that uses the keywords(see our article on SEO) associated with whatever niche you’re targeting with your business.

• Look up people in your niche, and those who seem to be "Gurus". Check out whom they're following and whose following them. Start following these people, as long as their profiles show that they follow back. When you're first starting out, avoid following people with a bunch of followers, who don't follow them back.

• Don't just pursue people in your field. Cultivate followers/friends in other areas you're interested in, such as mountain bike riding, surfing, chess etc... This gives you a well rounded list, and many more opportunities to attract people into your business. A great site to find people who share your interest is WeFollow.com

Check it out and have fun : )

• After you’ve built up a good size list of followers, then start actually following some of the gurus. Remember, it’s all about branding.

And who you’re following makes a statement about you and what you’re into. These gurus, or authorities may not follow you until you build up some credibility in the community. That’s okay.

• Twitter does have rules about how many people you can follow in relation to those following you, so in general – try to stick with people who return the respect and who will follow you back.

• Don’t SPAM. If you don’t know what that means – find out…

80% to 90% of your Tweets should be interesting quotes, stories, helpful information, educational things, fun things…

Promote your business every 9th or 10th tweet.

I know that most people you run across are blasting their business and their links all over the place all the time.

This just turns into noise and causes the people who could really help you and your business to ignore you, label you as a spammer, and maybe un-follow you and block you.

Rules of social etiquette still very much apply online.

Nobody wants to hang out with someone who just talks about how great their business opportunity is or how great their products and services are. You always want to add value to other people. Give them something of value 80% of the time, and tell them about your business 20% of the time.

So, what this all boils down to is…

Be a real person, and form real relationships. People will buy from you because of who you are and because they want to return something to you for the value you’ve brought to them.

Its always about your service to the other person first. The rest will take care of itself.

Most of what I learned from twitter came from an intuition based upon my previous training in NLP/Hypnosis and from training that I received from these two sources.

and

Kenneth Yu

You’ll find a wealth of information through both of these sources.

Happy Tweeting : )
